International WaterCentre

International WaterCentre – Education, Training, Research and Consultancy

International WaterCentre undertakes education, training, research and consulting activities to promote integrated and whole-of-water cycle approaches to water management. IWC aims to be a leader in promoting new ways of thinking about water management, consciously encouraging people to acknowledge the multi-dimensional nature of future water challenges and the critical role culture, politics and society have in shaping solutions. Recognising that water management requires experts from fields as diverse as sociology, science, economics and engineering, IWC brings together specialists from its four Australian university partners in University of Queensland, Griffith University, Monash University, and University of Western Australia, to tackle water problems through interdisciplinary solutions.

Master of Integrated Water Management

Our Masters of Integrated Water Management is one of our most important education initiatives. The program educates water professionals in integrated approaches that will drive future responses to the global water crisis, and equips students with the strategic, managerial and technical skills they need to advance their careers in the water sector. For more information, please go to http://www.watercentre.org/education/masters/index_html

Full time and partial Scholarships available

The Water Leader Scholarships Program will offer full and partial tuition scholarships for Australian citizens, permanent residents and international applicants. International scholarships will cover full tuition costs (equivalent to approximately AUD 36,000 in fee costs) of the three semester MIWM Program as well as Overseas Student Health Cover for the duration of the Program.
